What is it: Global Village offers glimpses into the cultures of the world in one place. Season 26 has 26 pavilions representing more than 80 cultures. The family destination will run for 167 days. It boasts family entertainment, rides and attraction, stage shows, food and shopping experiences.
Dubai Ride

What is it: A bike run wherein cyclists can participate in a 14km loop or a 4km family route. Dubai Ride is one of the key highlights of the Dubai Fitness Challenge. Dubai Ride is open for cyclists of all abilities and experiences, with options for beginners to seasoned amateurs and professionals. The 14km general route for ages 10-plus will start and finish at five locations around Sheikh Zayed Road and Lower Financial Centre Road, taking participants past the Museum of the Future, Emirates Towers and Downtown Dubai. Families are encouraged to get involved with a 4km course, with a scenic route around Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and Burj Khalifa.
The Cherry On Top

What is it: The works of art on display by Jordanian visual artist Khaldoun Hijazin expose the complex network of control and manipulation that frames our existence. Using dark humour, the artist dissects structures of power and dominance in realms from the political to the social. Expect large scale works of art among other impressive paintings.
Diwali Fireworks

What is it: The Bluewaters Island will light up the skies with a fireworks display. Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment and food stalls. Expo 2020 Dubai will celebrate the festival of lights with its own fireworks. A tailor-made show will be performed in Al Wasl Plaza while on the Jubilee Stage, Late Nights @ Expo will feature performances inspired by Diwali, with artists like When Chai Met Toast, Shilpa Ananth and Dhol Tasha in attendance.
What is it: The world’s largest Ferris wheel stands tall at 820 feet. Ain Dubai also takes the cake when it comes to a record number of passengers able to ride at the same time, with its seating capacity at 1,750. Each of its air-conditioned cabins is able to hold up to 40 riders. One full rotation on the Ain Dubai takes around 38 minutes. Food and beverages from concession stalls on the ground are allowed for the ride, including drinks from the bar. This ride offers 360-degree panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline including iconic landmarks like Burj Khalifa and Palm Jumeirah.
