Barça, The Exhibition – Feel our passion

Where: Dubai Festival City Mall
When: Daily until February 2, 2022
TimingsThe mall opens from Sunday to Wednesday from 10am to 12 midnight, and Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 1am

What is it: FC Barcelona fans can enjoy a unique journey through Barça’s history. The travelling exhibition combines a series of interactive experiences with the use of immersive technology. Visitors get to be inside a virtual camp and feel the matchday excitement in the stadium. Dubai is the second venue of the exhibition. There will be nine rooms to enjoy. Visitors can listen to an audio guide – an elderly man telling his grandchild about the team’s greatest achievements. The experience is brought to life by 65 HD projections, interactive apps, 50 memorabilia items, 20 trophies, a simulation area, an official Barça Store and a Play Barça area where fans can practise their skills.


Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF)

When: Daily until January 29, 2022
Timings: All-day activities
Tickets: Nonticketed

What is it: The 27th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) enlivens the city’s perfect winters with unforgettable fun for all ages. DSF is Dubai’s annual shopping and entertainment extravaganza. Besides indulging in retail therapy from international brands, visitors can watch live entertainment programmes and try out a variety of cuisines across the city. Expect shopping deals, concerts, nightly shows, family entertainment, outdoor markets and pop-up dining. There will also be a programme of events at Expo 2020 Dubai to coincide with the event. Daily fireworks displays will offer onlookers a pyrotechnic spectacle from vantage points around the city.


Jubilee Gastronomy

Where: Al Wasl Plaza, Expo 2020 Dubai
When: Until the last day of 2021
Timings: Expo 2020 Dubai Timings (Saturday-Wednesday: 10am-12midnight; Thursday-Friday: 10am-1am)
Tickets: Dh795 onwards

What is it: Relish innovative dishes from some of the world’s top chefs at Jubilee Gastronomy. Enjoy the chefs’ top creations at intimate, limited-edition Chef’s Table pop-ups every Tuesday. Delight your taste buds with an exquisite four-course lunch or opt for an expansive nine-course degustation dinner offering curated by Michelin-starred chefs. Every Sunday and Wednesday, top chefs from Dubai’s leading restaurants will be dishing out a lavish nine-course dinner.  Savour plates from Al Muntaha’s Saverio Sbaragli, SK Choi from Armani/Hashi and Beatrice Segoni from Pier Chic.


Jo Koy – Funny Is Funny

Where: Coca-Cola Arena, City Walk (Ages 16+)

What is it: The Dubai show will kick off American stand-up comic Jo Koy’s world tour.  As one of today’s top stand-up comedians, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing at a Las Vegas coffee house. He is known for his infectious and explosive energy on-stage. This show comes right off the back of his hugely successful Netflix specials and sold-out ‘Just Kidding’ World Tour.


Me, Myself and I –An evening with Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Where: Coca-Cola Arena
When: December 30
Timings: 8 pm onwards (Door opens 6 pm)
Tickets: Dh100-Dh1,500

What is it: Witness an impressive showcase of South Asia’s celebrated singer’s iconic tracks. The Sufi sensation returns to Dubai after his mesmerising sold-out concert earlier in 2021, for a completely new show with enchanting tunes. Expect classic qawwalis to soulful ghazals and Bollywood tracks to fusion numbers. The maestro has been a part of four seasons of the acclaimed Pakistani show Coke Studio and one season of MTV Unplugged in India. Listen to chart-topping songs like Mann Ki Lagan, Sayonee, Garaj Baras and Afreen Afreen.
