A dedicated, round-the-clock service to address requests from golden visa-holders and major employers has been launched in Dubai. The ‘You are Special’ service will be offered round-the-clock to large companies (with over 10,000 employees), golden visa-holders, operators of four- and five-star hotels and luxury hotel apartments, in addition to strategic partners of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai), Dubai’s immigration service.

The dedicated ‘You are Special’ service will ensure that applications from qualified individuals and organisations are processed promptly. The service will offer a dedicated coordinator to answer the customer’s queries and work to resolve any issues. People can call the Amer Call Centre on 8005111 (those outside the UAE may call +9714-3139999) to enquire about the service.

The UAE’s golden visa is essentially a long-term residence visa. The country introduced the golden visa programme in 2019. It offers long-term residence visas to qualifying foreigners, enabling them to live, work and study in the UAE without the need of a local Emirati or corporate sponsor.

The UAE aims to attract exceptional minds and talent to be permanent partners in the UAE’s development process. The country offers long-term golden visas to property investors, scientists, medical professionals, entrepreneurs as well as to outstanding school pupils and high-scoring university students. The UAE recently launched a National Program for Coders which will offer golden visas to the world’s best 100,000 coders.
