In the OAG Megahubs Connectivity Index 2019, Toronto Pearson is ranked at No. 6 in the world, with Air Canada enjoying a 51 per cent share of the hub. Air Canada and Westjet Airlines dominate the domestic market, together accounting for 80 per cent of its share. This duopoly means high domestic airfares.
