Canada ranks second in the world for its political stability. The country, headed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, also ranked first for quality of life, social purpose and its perceived commitment to social justice. The country ranks high on political stability and the absence of violence/terrorism. It is seen as a model for stability, sustainable prosperity and economic inclusion.

Canada has a diverse and inclusive economy and is rated as the sixth-best country to do business in out of the 153 countries ranked by Forbes. It is one of the world’s top trading nations — as well as one of its richest. Besides a dominant services sector, Canada also has vast oil reserves and is a major exporter of energy, food and minerals.

Its political system is a parliamentary democracy, with its own social and political institutions. The economy is closely linked to that of the US, but Canada has its own economic institutions
